The Beaumont Community Centre has entered the Restriction Exemption Program. Starting September 20th, 2021 anyone 12 years or over will be required to:

Show proof of vaccination or a covid-19 negative test (tests cannot be more than 72 hours old) upon entry of the building.

This could be asked of you by security anytime you are entering the building. Please bring proof of vaccination or a negative covid test each time you enter the building. This will include students, parents, or anyone entering the building.

As a result Beaumont Community Music will also be asking for proof of vaccination. This can be digital or on paper. You will only need to show it once, so we can mark down that we have seen it. No medical records or health documentation will be kept on file. This will be so we can verify all entering the building for lessons outside of the community centres business hours. If you are a parent that sits in on lessons with your child, you will also be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative covid test.

Alberta vaccine record cards are available: https://www.albertavaccinerecord.ca/#/ however, at this time any vaccine record that includes your first and last name, vaccine record, and vaccine date will be accepted or a negative Covid test within 72 hours of the lesson.

Prior to October 25, 2021 proof of 1 dose is needed. After October 25, 2021 both doses are needed.

Please show your instructor during your lessons as soon as possible. Students who are not vaccinated will be required to show a negative Covid test within 72 hours at each lesson.

Please note: this does not apply to students under the age of 12.

We will continue to follow all Covid-19 health measures including:

1. Masking

2. Distancing

3. Sanitizing

4. Cleaning

5. Covid-19 screening

We understand that this may not be the outcome everyone was hoping for or expecting. We are doing what is needed and required, to be able to provide in person lessons and keep everyone as safe as possible. If at this time you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will try my best to make accommodations as needed.

Thank you for your continued flexibility as we navigate these unprecedented times. We truly appreciate your continued support.
